The Center for Archaeology in the Public Interest (C.A.P.I.) is affiliated with the Anthropology Department at Indiana University Bloomington. C.A.P.I. is dedicated to promoting an inclusive and reflexive approach to archaeology. Members of the center are involved in a variety of activities to promote this vision of archaeology:

• Multidisciplinary collaboration
• Public Education about archaeology and archaeological research
• Debating ethics and scientific research
• Professional conferences and presentations
• Field research in archaeology and cultural anthropology
