The Career Development Center and Arts & Sciences Career Services is pleased to announce the launch of its new website. With involvement from the entire CDC/ASCS staff, the new site offers a more contemporary look and feel, newly written and reorganized content, and simpler navigation.
Available at http://www.indiana.edu/~career/, CDC/ASCS Director Pat Donahue says the website’s purpose is "to educate students, employers, faculty, staff, and parents about the multiple services we provide and to link them to beneficial career planning information."
Special thanks are given to Sara Pennington-Busick, Nick Podsiadlik, Karen Wright, and Dan Bicknell for their contributions with the project.
New features of the site include:
- Increased transparency with menu items and more logical organization of content
- Site index
- News and staff blogs
- Ability to search the Web Link Library
- Calendar filtering
- Staff biographies and responsibility descriptions
- Media casts (podcasts, streaming video) on career-related topics
- RSS feeds
- Enhanced staff blog features
In addition to the new website, the CDC/ASCS also maintains IUCareers.com. IUCareers is where students seeking part-time, internship, or full-time positions can find opportunities targeted directly toward IU students.
