Travel

By Air. Most visitors traveling by air choose to fly into the Indianapolis International Airport. You may then rent a car or use other transportation to make the trip to Bloomington. The Bloomington Shuttle Service offers van transportation from the airport to the Indiana Memorial Union on campus and can be reached at (812) 332-6004. Other alternatives include Classic Touch Limousine at (812) 339-7269, and Indy Connection Limousine at (800) 888-4639.

By Car. If you are traveling by car from the Indianapolis International Airport, these directions will get you to the Career Development Center (driving time is approximately one hour).

• Exiting the airport, take I-465 South to the Harding Street/State Road 37 Exit.
• Follow State Road 37 for 52 miles to Bloomington.
• Exit State Road 37 at the Highway 46 East Bypass.
• Travel east on the Highway 46 Bypass to Fee Lane (there is an Indiana State Police Post on the corner) and turn right onto Fee Lane.
• Continue on Fee lane until you reach a traffic light at 17th Street. Turn left on 17th Street.
• Continue on 17th Street until you reach the top of the hill
• Turn right at the top of the hill onto Jordan Avenue.
• Continue on Jordan Avenue through the traffic light.
• The Career Development Center is the red brick house on your right, located at 625 North Jordan Avenue (the northwest corner of 10th and Jordan.) Upon arrival, please check in at the reception desk.

Parking

There are six spaces reserved for recruiters in the Career Development Center parking lot. These spaces are marked with signs and reserved for recruiters until 9:00 a.m. If you arrive after 9:00 a.m. or if all six on-site spaces are occupied, check in at the Career Development Center to get off-site parking instructions and a parking pass before parking your car elsewhere. Please note, you will be ticketed or towed if you park anywhere other than a designated visitor parking area or park without a valid visitor permit.
