Responsibilities
- Teach career courses and advise students
- Coordinator, Nonprofit Career Forum
- Member, Student Services Training and Resources Team, Internship Courses Administration Team, University Relations Team, and Human Resources Team
- Design and conduct outreach presentations on CDC/ASCS services or aspects of career development
- Office Liaison, Community Stakeholders Group and Community Relations

Alexa is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana and is an IU Bloomington alum. Prior to her work at the CDC/ASCS, Alexa completed a year-long graduate internship working as a guidance counselor in a high school, helping 9th through 12th graders clarify and plan for their academic, career, and personal goals. This experience led her into the field of career services in higher education and sent her happily back to Bloomington. In addition to her work in the field of education, Alexa has also had experience working in the legal field in victim services. Alexa believes that career education is important for all students during their college years, and hopes to have an impact on students by teaching, advising, and providing career services.
