Graduate Student Career Advising
Graduate Students
Students who are enrolled in graduate degree programs are eligible for graduate career advising services when they are planning on pursuing careers outside of academia. If you are planning to pursue a job within academia, please consult with your faculty advisor for career-related guidance.
Advising sessions are arranged by appointment only. Each session lasts about an hour and can cover topics such as: choosing a career direction, job search strategies, interviewing skills, and the critiquing of cover letters, resumes and CVs. Graduate career advising is provided by a dedicated staff member:
Jan Van Dyke
