Graduate Student Career Advising
Regretfully, the Center has indefinitely suspended advising services for graduate students effective immediately (February 2010).
Below are a few options for graduate students who have career advising needs:
- You are welcome to use our online services (IUCareers.com and myIUcareers), as well as our in-print resources (available in the Career Development Center's Career Resource Library).
- Check with the faculty in your department and school/college to see if any career advising services are available to graduate students (either departmentally, or school/college wide).
- The College of Arts & Sciences has a graduate-level course offering called Graduate Professional Skills [COLL-C 575 (34244)]. This is an 8-week course and begins in March.
- The Bloomington area has a few private career counselors that could offer you similar services. See the yellow pages under "Career and Vocational Counseling," or contact Katie Lloyd, Senior Assistant Director for Student Services, at lloydk
