Online Career Resources

There are a number of online resources that IU students can utilize to learn more about majors, career fields, internships, jobs, and graduate programs. The Indiana University Bloomington Libraries have an extensive Career Reference Collection available to students through their official website, available here.

In addition to the resources available through the libraries, the Career Development Center has three online libraries:

Web Link Library: The web link library is a compilation of links to help students research career fields, professional associations, internships, and job openings. The links are categorized by specific career interest, national and international geographic region, and lists of meta-sites and summer jobs.

Document Library: The document library is a collection of PDF downloads that have information on interviewing skills, writing resumes, job resources, preparing for career fairs, salary negotiations, and more.

Subscription Career Exploration & Job Search Links: The subscription career exploration and job search links are a group of sites that the IU Career Development Center pays for so that students can access them for free. These sites include information on financial literacy, job databases in both non-profit and private sectors, free career assessments, and more.
