Indiana Reading & Math Team
What is the Indiana Reading & Math Team?
- The Indiana Reading & Math Team is a group of students working as reading and math tutors for elementary school children in the Bloomington area.
- The students will be part of a cooperative effort among Indiana University, the public schools, and community agencies who are working to ensure that all children in the area can read well and independently by the end of third grade.
Who can become a member of the Team?
- Any student who has been awarded Federal work-study through the Office of Financial Assistance and is interested in working as a tutor for elementary school children can apply to become a member of the Team!
- Team members are expected to attend all orientation and training sessions and are expected to commit to the Team for one year.
