About UsmyIUcareers
myIUcareers is the first place to look for local and national full- and part-time job postings, internships, and externships. Job fairs, employer information sessions, employer recruitment interviews, and other career-related event announcements are also centralized on the site.
myIUcareers allows you to post a general resume that employers can search, submit a targeted resume for particular openings, and set up a job agent. A job agent watches out for the kind of job you want and emails you when it finds something. Unlike large job boards, myIUcareers is restricted only to IU students, so you face less competition. Also, we filter and administer myIUcareers; we allow only legitimate companies who want to hire IU students to use the site.
If you're thinking about finding a career or internship, even if you're still in your first year, sign up by clicking the "student login" link under the myIUcareers logo at the top of this page and post your resume today. Your basic information (address, class level, graduation date, etc. is obtained from the Registrar, so make sure your record on OneStart is up-to-date). Some employers restrict their interviews and searches by major and GPA, so you should make sure your profile is accurate.
