The objectives and goals of the Campus Administrative Training Services (CATS) are to provide tools and information to assist and support you in your role as fiscal officer, delegate, or human resources administrator. Indiana University's systems environments are diverse and complex and navigating the many web pages can be perplexing. On this web site you will find direct links to the various IU constituencies' web pages. We have identified those units that we think will be useful.
The CATS series was kicked off on May 15, 2003. The documentation distributed during that first session pertains to the roles and responsibilities of the fiscal officer, delegate, account manager, account supervisor, fiscal approver, and personnel approver. It also includes the descriptions of the various sub-funds (first 2 numbers of an account) to be used as reference when creating new accounts. The presentation from that session can be found here.
After each meeting the documentation from that session will be added as a reference tool. Periodically, new policies and procedures will be noted above under Announcements.
The CATS web page will evolve during the next year and we encourage you to provide us with your suggestions to enhance this page. Please send us an email at cats@indiana.edu with your questions and/or concerns.
