This is a small universe environment. It was
developped as part of the mandala group project and is the starting
out environment of that group. In this world you will start out high
above the solar system and fall through the solar system to the galaxy
model. To free yourself from the grip of gravity you will need to
click the middle button on the wand. You will then be able to fly
around in the environment free of gravity, able to explore the solar
system model. Check out the different planets and hear the different
sounds they contain. But don't get too close to the sun or you'll be
reincarnated!
This is another of the mandala worlds. It is
meant to represent the earth realm. I am origianlly from Utah. Growing up
my family would occasionally take a vacation to Southern Utah and Lake
Powell. This environment with the red rocks and arch is reminiscent of
that environment. Walk around and explore the teepee's, hear the hawk
cry overhead. Explore the hidden cave. Watch out for the fast moving
snakes. And don't grab the cactus! If you are seeking enlightenment
try to find the hidden lotus flower. In this world are snakes, cactus, birds, teepees, baskets, bowls, bodhisattvas, and a lotus flower. The sky texture is from a blue feather, the sun was created with a lens flare, the rock texture is again from one of the rock textures below that were made from scanned images of rocks from my yard. The basket and bird texture is from some dead leaves I pulled out of my flower bed. The texture on the petals of the lotus are from a pink feather. The lily pad texture of the lotus is from a tree in my backyard. The cactus texture I found on the web and made considerable alterations to when making it tileable. The sound in the environment is from: http://www.littleleaf.com/newCD.htm
