Ryan
is a German-American, married to an Indian-Canadian, focused on European and Central
Asian politics. He’s particularly interested in how democracy can be
developed in Central Asian countries, and in whether people there have much
allegiance to the national state, or much more to their region or ethnic
group. His hobbies include biking around Afghan cities, playing soccer and
basketball, eating spicy food, and playing with his 9-month old son. |
