Campus Coalition for Sexual Literacy

Campus Coalition for Sexual Literacy (CCSL) is a student organization at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN that serves to bring together students, staff, faculty, administrators, researchers, professors, and advocates on sexuality research, education, and policy to achieve the following: provide opportunities to advance sexual literacy, promote the development of training and research in sexuality across disciplines and fields, and to provide opportunities to inform policy and practices that promote sexual health and well-being throughout the lifespan.

National Campaign for Sexual Literacy
Sexual literacy is the knowledge needed to advance and protect one's own sexual health and well-being. The National Sexuality Resource Center (NSRC) is leading the National Campaign for Sexual Literacy to increase sexual literacy through training, research, community work, and providing resources on sexual health, education, and rights. One of its projects is the University Consortium for Sexuality Research Training (UCSRT), which connects researchers, students, practitioneers, and educators using new technologies to promote the development of training and research in sexuality across disciplines, fields, and sectors. In 2008-2009, UCSRT is supporting the development of campus chapters to futher its goals of promoting sexual literacy. Indiana University is among these four chapters, which also includes University of Maryland, SF State, and University of Texas - Austin. CCSL at Indiana University is the university's connection to the National Campaign for Sexual Literacy.
