• Make hotel reservations.

Fall 2007

• Apply for graduation within your school or department; deadlines will vary.

February 1

• The IU Bookstore begins taking orders for caps and gowns and graduation announcements. You can order your cap and gown online from the Herff Jones website by clicking on "Indiana University" from the dop down list.

• IU Bookstore Grad Fair runs from 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. in the Frangipani Room. You can purchase caps and gowns and graduation announcements at the Grad Fair.

March 21

• The IU Alumni Association will mail detailed information regarding commencement to all tentative graduates.

Apr 30 - May 3

• Graduates may pick up their caps and gowns at the IU Bookstore.

May 2

• Baccalaureate will be held at 5 p.m. in the IU Auditorium.

May 3
10 a.m. Ceremony

• Commencement
• 8 a.m.: Assembly Hall opens
• 8 a.m.: Assembly Hall opens
• 8:30 a.m.: Line up for procession at Fieldhouse
• 9:15 a.m.: Procession begins
• 10 a.m.: Ceremony begins: Tentative Program Order

3 p.m. Ceremony

• 1 p.m.: Assembly Hall opens
• 1:30 p.m.: Line up for procession at the Fieldhouse
• 2:15 p.m.: Procession begins
• 3 p.m.: Ceremony begins: Tentative Program Order
