Bloomington, Indiana, is a popular destination all year around, and many hotels and bed and breakfasts take reservations up to a year in advance. Commencement Weekend is a particularly busy time, and accommodations are booked solid. Many families stay in Indianapolis and drive to Bloomington on Graduation Day. Book your accommodations as early as possible, and keep in mind that graduates may wish to invite you to attend their individual school celebrations on the Friday before or the Sunday after Commencement Day, in addition to the main ceremony on Saturday. The Indiana Memorial Union and the Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau are good places to start planning your visit.
