Advanced Tibetan II

This course will focus on the further development of advanced skills that are desirable in academic and professional work. The materials for this course will be selected from writings and translations of classical and modern Tibetan. Daily written and translation assignments will be given and graded accordingly. You will also expand your knowledge on Tibetan culture and history. 

Course Materials: Materials are covered with magazines, newspaper articles, religious text, short fictions and poetry.

Exams:   There will be periodical tests and a final exam.

Grading:

25% class participation
25% home assignments
20% tests
30% final exam
