The registration fee includes access to all lectures and the exhibition, opening reception, lunches, and a local bus ticket good for unlimited rides within Regensburg during the conference. Conference dinner (50 EUR) and excursion (15-30 EUR depending on the activity) can be purchased in addition.

Hotels (recommended): Rooms in hotels range between 60 EUR – 100 EUR per room and night [single or double occupancy]) have been blocked at a special rate, good until June 3, 2017.
Online booking (youth hostels), no access code necessary.
Youth hostels (approx. 27-31 EUR / night and person, shared rooms up to 6 people) have been blocked, good until May 1, 2017.
German residents must purchase a yearly membership (Deutscher Jugendherbergsausweis, 7.50 EUR (age 26 and under) or 22.50 EUR (age 27 and above)). International guests can obtain an International Guest Card directly at the hostel at the time of the stay for 3.50 EUR / night or alternatively must be a member of the Youth Hostel Association of their country. Regensburg can be conveniently reached by plane from major international airports (Munich airport (fastest option) + 1 hour train ride or shared airport shuttle; Frankfurt airport (flights to Frankfurt are often less expensive than to Munich) + 3 hours train ride). From Germany or central Europe, reaching Regensburg by train is a good alternative. More details can be found following this link.
Local Travel during the conference (for Maps follow this link)
The conference will take place on the campus of the University of Regensburg, which is 2-3 km away from the City Center. Buses run every 10 minutes. In the registration fee is included a bus ticket, which will entitle you to an unlimited number of rides during the conference within Regensburg.
The 25th ISHC Congress was held in Santa Barbara California at UCSB from August 23 — August 28, 2015. The Congress Chair was Professor Pettus who followed Professor Bia Yu from September 2013 in China.
The 24th ISHC Congress was held in Shanghai, China from September 08 — September 13, 2013. The Congress Chair will be Professor Biao You who has succeeded Professor Colin Suckling as the earlier Vice-President of the ISHC in September 2011. This was the first time that the ISHC-Congress was held in China in the whole of its nearly 50 year history.
The 23rd ISHC Congress was held in Glasgow, Scotland from July 31 — August 4, 2011. The Vice Chair was Professor Colin Suckling, who succeeded Professor Mohsen Daneshtalab as the earlier Vice-President of the ISHC. This was the first time that the ISHC-Congress has been held in the UK in the whole of its nearly 50 year history.
The 22nd ISHC Congress was in St John’s, Newfoundland, Canada August 2-7, 2009. The Congress Chair was Professor Mohsen Daneshtalab, who has succeeded Prof. David Black as the Vice-President of the ISHC in September 2007.
