C371 Chemical Informatics I Requirements

Grades in C371 will be based on completion of a number of exercises associated with the individual lectures (60 points), work performed on a project (30 points), and participation in the discussion forums on Oncourse (10 points) (http://oncourse.iu.edu). The projects may have more than one person working on them. Although there are no exams in this class, it is strongly recommended that you read the chapters assigned in the textbook (Leach & Gillet: An Introduction to Chemoinformatics, RS418 .L435 2003 on reserve in the IUB Chemistry Library and in IUPUI University Library) and any supplemental readings appropriate to each section. Many of the latter are in electronic journals or are otherwise accessible on the Web.
