IUB Specific Information
In addition to being the instructor for C471, Gary Wiggins is also the Director

found in the School of Informatics
Building Room I 213 at 901 East Tenth Street. He will also be in the Chemical Informatics Commons room
in the Chemistry Library, CH003C:
Wednesday 3:30-5:30 pm
Please send e-mail to wiggins at indiana.edu or call at 812-856-1086 if
you want to make an appointment.
Luke Jarymowycz (ljarymow at indiana.edu) is the associate
instructor for this course. He
can assist you with assignments and questions about the course .
Luke
can be found in the Chemical Informatics Commons Room in the Chemistry Library
(Room 003C) during his office hours:
- Tuesday: 10:00-12:00 AM
- Wednesday: 3:30-5:30 PM
- Thursday: 3:00-5:00 PM
At IUB, the Computer Laboratory (CH006) and the Chemistry Resources Center (CH046)
are open the same hours as the Chemistry Library, except that they are
locked 15 minutes before the
library is closed. If you encounter problems with the computers in those
rooms, contact the Undergraduate Office.
IUB
Electronic mail will be used to leave tips about the exercises or
to share information on points that were found not to have been covered
thoroughly enough in the lecture. Be sure to check your Oncourse e-mail regularly.
You can use direct e-mail to communicate with the instructor
(wiggins at indiana.edu)
or the AI, Luke Jarymowicz
(ljarymow at indiana.edu).
However, we
hope that you will use the Oncourse "In Touch" e-mail, discussion forum, and chat room
options to ask questions of your classmates and to share tips on the problems sets.
We prefer that you limit your questions about C471 to the instructors.
The other full-time staff and the part-time student workers in
the libraries have little or nothing to do with C471.
