1. Connect to the NIST Web Book and update the figures for the numbers of
compounds with:
- Mass spectra
- IR spectra
- UV/Vis spectra
- Electronic and vibrational spectra
- Constants of diatomic molecules (spectroscopic data)
2. Do the same for the SDBS database concerning the number of spectra for:
- MS
- 1H NMR
- 13C NMR
- IR
- Raman
- ESR
3. Spend at least one-half hour exploring the NIST site at:
http://www.nist.gov.
