- 15 credit hours of coursework within the College of Arts and Sciences related to Latin America & Caribbean Studies, including the L210-L211 course sequence. At least 9 of the 15 credit hours must be at the 300-400 level.
- The College of Arts and Science foreign language requirement must be fulfilled in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, Maya or Quechua.
- A maximum of 3 credit hours in a student's major may be credited toward the minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies.
- Any course in which the student receives a grade below C– may not be used to fulfill a minor requirement.
