13.1 Video Switcher (NTSC)

Description

Video (NTSC) switcher is a signal routing device that allows any inputs to be switched to any one or all the outputs of the unit.

Features:

  • Video bandwidth – Adequate video bandwidth to ensure no degradation of signal

  • Manual front panel control – To allow manual operation of the unit.

  • Status repot – The possibility of activating status request command via front panel and computer controller

  • Seamless transition – Smooth and seamless transition when switching between the inputs

  • Simple instruction codes for control software  – To allow easy integration of the switcher into the computer controlled environments

  • Balanced and unbalanced stereo audio

  • Audio gain and attenuation adjustable through front panel and computer controller

  • Audio follow video – To allow switching of video and corresponding audio simultaneously. This switcher should also allow any audio signal to be selected with any video signal simultaneously to one or all outputs in any combination via front panel or serial controller

  • Audio breakaway – To allow breakaway any audio from its corresponding video signal via front panel or serial controller

  • RS-232/422 control - To allow computer remote control of the unit

  • Rack mountable

  • Flexible inputs and outputs configuration – Such as 4 x 4, 8 x 4, 8 x 8, 12 x 4, 12 x 8, 12 x 12, 16 x 4, 16 x 8, 16 x 12, 16 x 16.
