Volunteer Data

The volunteer lake monitoring program was started in 1989 with the goal of encouraging active citizen stewardship of their lakes and to provide opportunities for citizens to learn more about lakes. With the help of many volunteers, we have collected over 12,000 data points from lakes all across the state of Indiana. You can access all of the available volunteer data from here.

Use one of the links below to view summary data for the whole program, or you can search all of the collected data by lake, county or year.

If you are interested in learning more about the program, please click here. If you would like to become a volunteer or to see if your lake is currently being monitored, please contact us.
