Fundraising

Fundraising is very important to BloomingKids and its members. Without fundraising activities and donations, BloomingKids would not be able to provide such a great program for the community. Since BloomingKids is such a large chapter it costs around $16,000 annually to operate. The largest "chunk" of our cost is due to transporting the children to the university. We also provide the children with a snack each week, we pay for activity supplies, journals for the kids, and office supplies. All of our funding comes from fundraisers that the volunteers put on. The school corporation and the university sadly do not have the money to assist us.

We would greatly appreciate a donation from you. Ten dollars would cover the cost for one activity for a little buddy. Fifty dollars would cover a little buddy's transportation for a semester. This is just to give you an idea of how you can help. Any amount, more or less, would be most welcome. Please help this beneficial program grow, we would love to be able to benefit more children of the Bloomington community. We also accept gift certificates and other in-kind gifts.
