Driving Directions to Indiana University Bloomington

Following are suggested driving directions from some of the major roadways as you near Bloomington. Please consult a map prior to your departure to determine if there might be a more appropriate route.

From the North

Take State Road 37 South to the 2nd Bloomington exit (45/46 Bypass). Proceed to the fourth stoplight (Fee Lane). Turn right onto Fee Lane, take Fee until it dead ends and turn right on 10th Street. Go to first stoplight (Woodlawn Ave.) and turn left. Go three blocks and turn left on 7th Street. Go straight at the 4-way stop (White Guard Shack), you may drop off students and equipment in front of Woodburn Hall (1st building on the right after you pass the parking lot).

From the West and Southwest

Take State Road 45 or 48 to State Road 37 and continue heading north. Take the Bloomington exit for 45 North/46 East. Proceed to the fourth stoplight (Fee Lane). Turn right onto Fee Lane, take Fee until it dead ends and turn right on 10th Street. Go to first stoplight (Woodlawn Ave.) and turn left. Go three blocks and turn left on 7th Street. Go straight at the 4-way stop (White Guard Shack), you may drop off students and equipment in front of Woodburn Hall (1st building on the right after you pass the parking lot).

From the South

Take State Road 37 North to the Bloomington exit for 45 North/46 East. Proceed to the fourth stoplight (Fee Lane). Turn right onto Fee Lane, take Fee until it dead ends and turn right on 10th Street. From the East

Take State Road 46 to Bloomington. SR46 becomes East Third Street. Continue on Third Street and turn right Indiana Avenue. Take Indiana Avenue to 7th Street and turn right. Go four blocks to the four-way stop continue straight past the white guard shack, you may drop off students and equipment in front of Woodburn Hall (1st building on the right after you pass the parking lot)
