
Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature
RENAISSANCE / EARLY MODERN. The Comparative Literature Department invites applications for a tenure-track position from broadly trained comparatists with a specialization in Renaissance or early modern European literature and thought. Applicants should have a strong command of three vernacular traditions in addition to Latin and be conversant with the sources and methods of current critical discourse. Secondary interests in related disciplines such as comparative arts are especially welcome. Ph.D. in hand or by August 2008.
