IU Contemporary Dance Announces New Program:  Living Dance Community Partnerships

IU Contemporary Dance is pleased to announce a new program, titled “Living Dance Community Partnerships.”  which will expand service opportunities past children, and into other populations.  A dance course for individuals with Parkinson’s will be one of our inaugural programs, and will begin this fall in cooperation with Windfall Dance Studio.  We will also launch a service-learning partnership with Crestmont Boys and Girls Club during the fall semester.  In 2013, creative dance classes for children ages three-eight will become part of this new approach, with the hope of serving current and underrepresented portions of our Indiana population.
