Christian Hines is a junior double-majoring in history and Modern Political Thought and Action (individualized major). He also is working toward a minor in English and a certificate in the Liberal Arts and Management Program.
He has strong interests in international and constitutional law, foreign affairs, and political and social commentary. He writes the "Proclamations" column for the Indiana Daily Student and recently founded the Student Foreign Policy Initiative, a nonpartisan student think tank that promotes awareness of American foreign policy through lectures, seminars, reports, and weekly discussions. Apart from his academic work, Christian enjoys jazz, reading, and ultimate frisbee. Following his time at IU, he hopes to pursue a joint JD and Master's degree.
