Associate Justice Nick Card


Nick Card, class of 2013, is a senior majoring in History and pursuing an honors level certificate through the Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP) and a minor in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures.  He is also a member of the Hutton Honors College.

During his first year on campus, Nick served as a member of the Briscoe Quadrangle Judicial Board.  He then joined the Campus Judicial Board during his sophomore year.  Throughout his undergraduate career, Nick has been involved as a Rights & Permissions Intern at the Indiana University Press.  He has also studied abroad as part of an academic year program at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England.  This year, Nick will also be working as a Program Liaison Manager for Residential Programs and Services in addition to continuing his internship at the IU Press.

 

Nick graduated with honors from Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he competed as part of the track and cross country teams and was named a member of the Academic All-State team.  While in high school, Nick also participated in newspaper and the National Honor Society.

 

In his spare time, Nick is a devoted IU Basketball and NBA fan.  He also enjoys reading and playing guitar.  Upon graduation, Nick plans to attend law school and work in Intellectual Property law.
