Accommodations in Bloomington

Participants will be responsible for their own accommodations. Since Bloomington is very popular in August, you are strongly advised to make early reservations. Here is an alphabetical list of some local hotels and approximate rates without tax (the hotel tax rate is 10%). Please confirm the deposit and cancellation policies when making reservations.

This is near the downtown area, about a 10-minute walk from the Physics Department. A block of rooms is reserved until June 30 at the special rate of  $79, under the name CPT '01 and code CPT. As of mid-May, the availability for Saturday night was relatively limited.

This is a small bed-and-breakfast hotel about midway between the downtown area and the Physics Department, about a 5-minute walk each way. A small block of about 15 rooms is reserved  under the name CPT '01 until July 6 at the rate (includes breakfast) of  $81 during the week and $119 on Friday and Saturday .

This is located on campus near the Physics Department. It was fully booked in early May, but some rooms are likely to become available throughout the coming weeks due to cancellations. Price range approximately $80-100.

This is about two miles from the Physics Department. As of late June, about 70 rooms remain available for the period August 14-19. Price range approximately $40 single and $55 double.
