- All IUB students (except University Division students): To declare Criminal Justice as a major, please call the main office at 812-855-9325, Monday-Friday, 8-12pm, 1-5pm, to schedule an advising appointment with a CJUS academic advisor.
- BA degree, major in Criminal justice:

for students enrolled after May 2011

for students enrolled prior to May 2011, but using new CASE requirements
- University Division students (students who have not earned 26 credits, complete ENG composition, and have at least a 2.000): you should declare your major path with your University Division advisor so you are on track to certify into the College of Arts and Science as a CJUS major when you are eligible. Certification happens three times a year, in February, June, and October.

- To declare a CJUS minor, please email an academic advisor. Please note: if you are majoring outside of the College of Arts and Sciences, you may be asked to come in for an advising appointment
