permanent Director
The Department of Sociology is searching for a permanent director. CRRES is an interdisciplinary center that works collaboratively with other units on campus in an effort to facilitate research and training opportunities for faculty and students. The Director works closely with the Advisory Board of CRRES to implement the mission and goals of the Center.
The CRRES Director has strong leadership skills as s/he manages and direct Center activities; develops and implement policies and procedures; administers the budget; provides support to the researchers, staff, and students who are affiliated with the Center; and serves as the Center’s spokesperson and representative to external audiences.
The CRRES Director is a self-motivated team builder who is open and flexible, has the ability to understand and appreciate the wide range of research pursuits in the area of race and ethnicity, and has a passion for the mission of the center.
