The alphabetical ranges above contain an annotated list of the projects in the Center for the Study of History and Memory archive,1968 to the present. On these pages, the projects are listed alphabetically by project title. The project number used in the IUCAT records for our projects (see instructions below) follow the project's running date(s) in each project title. Each annotation includes the year(s) the project was conducted, the number of interviews, the major time period(s) covered by the interviews, the interview's access status, and a list of subjects discussed by the interviewees.
ARCHIVAL FINDING AID
Funded by a Preservation and Access Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and created in collaboration with the Indiana University Digital Libraries Program and the Indiana University Archives, this online finding aid was created using Encoded Archival Description (EAD), and provides data on each project and its interviews.
Click on one of the alphabet ranges above, then click on a linked project name, and it will take you to the finding aid page for that project. You will need to hit the "back" button to return to the "Browse" pages. Project names that do not have hyperlinks have not yet been added to the online finding aid.
For assistance in finding interviews relevant to your interests, please contact our office using this online form, or call us at 812/855-2856.
The Center can make copies of interviews upon request, in most cases. Please contact the office before sending payment for any interview copies to ensure that we can fulfill your request. Additional information for obtaining a copy of an interview can be found on our Copy Costs and Policies page.
