What: Prof. Choksy speaks on ethnic minorities-related tensions in the Islamic Republic of Iran.


The Lunch and a Lecture Series has been in place since 2012. Monthly, CSME hosts graduate students, professors, and visiting scholars to present their current research projects pertaining to the Middle East. The series is a fun and casual way to engage with colleagues and learn a new aspect of Middle Eastern history, culture, etc.

Dr. Choksy is a professor at Indiana University and Chair of the Department of Central Eurasian Studies.
