Cultural Studies Adjunct: Christopher Anderson

I am Associate Professor of Communication and Culture. I write and teach about media industries and the history of movies, radio, television, and advertising in the United States. I recently received the Library of Congress Coca-Cola Fellowship for the Study of Advertising and World Culture and am researching the activities of advertising agencies and corporate sponsors, who used radio and television to promote a consumer society in America during the years 1930-1960.
