TroubleShooting Tips

| No Power. |
- Is the unit turned on?
- Is the power cord connected to a cart?
- Is the cart plugged into a wall outlet?
- Is the wall outlet controlled by a wall switch?

| No picture on the TV screen |
- Is TV turned on, plugged into cart & wall?
- Is the TV channel set to 3.
- Has VCR option, not TV, been slected on the TV?
- Is the cable plugged into VCR at "RF out" not "antenna" and into the back of the TV at cable
connector?
- Has the tape been reqould?

| The playback picture is not clear, not in color, or there is large amounts of "snow"
|
- Is "channel 3" selected on TV?
- Adjust tracking. most newer units are automatic.
- Tape may be bad
|
| The picture moves vertically |
- Adjust the vertical hold control on the TV
- Wrong tape format; PAL/SECAM requires special VCR to play.
