Dean of the Faculties Reorganization

Functions of the Office of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculties have been placed under the leadership of two new vice provosts: Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs, and Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education.

The Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs will provide leadership on issues relating to academic appointments and policies, including faculty recruitment and retention, tenure and promotion, diversity, faculty development and mediation. The Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education will lead programs and initiatives in support of outstanding academic experiences for all IU Bloomington undergraduates.
