B600 ADVANCED READINGS IN PRIMATOLOGY is an upperclass/graduate level
seminar meant for advanced bioanthropology undergraduate majors and
graduates with a research interest in primate behavior and ecology.
Advanced Readings is meant to provide a forum for professional-level
discussion of the recent primary research literature on the evolution of
primate socioecology, diet and behavior.  Among our foci will be the
evolutionary and ecological bases of sociality, intense affiliation within
groups, group transfer, territoriality, aggression, primate intelligence,
communication, tool use, mating strategies, and parenting strategies.  Two,
three or rarely four journal articles will be the subject of each meeting.
Anthropology B368/568 is a prerequisite.  Authorization required.
