Course Format: Lecture: 11:15A-12:05P, MW, JH A514 plus two hour lab.

Prerequisites: Biol L319 or L323, L311 or S311 and consent of instructor.
IW. Individual lab times may be arranged with permission of instructor only.

Course Description: The goals of this course are to teach students to use
modern techniques in molecular biology and genetics in the context of
individual research projects.  The research projects are designed by the
student in consultation with the instructor and serve to provide the type
of research experience sought by employers and graduate and medical
schools.  Similar to L490 in concept but in a teaching lab setting with
closer supervision.
