Prerequisites:  No previous science background necessary.

Course Description: Introduction to the biological mechanisms underlying
sex differences in physiology and behavior, and the evolution of sex roles.
We will examine mating strategies from an evolutionary perspective for a
variety of organisms concentrating on higher vertebrates, including humans.
We will also look at recent research showing differences in brain structure
between males and females as well as between individuals with different
sexual orientations.  We will evaluate a few of these studies and their
relevance to other aspects of female-male differences.
