In addition to the basic requirements specified in the description of
G380: Early China, graduate students enrolling in G580 will meet an
additional hour, to be scheduled at a mutually convenient time, ten
times during the term to discuss readings in secondary scholarship,
and will write a research paper of approximately 20-25 pp.
