Anti-Semitism is an enduring prejudice, recognizing neither
chronological limits nor geographical boundaries. In this course we
will address the history of this form of hatred in Europe, with
special focus on modern Germany and Austria, and consider the variety
of Jewish responses to it. We will use a variety of primary sources
in our investigation from political tracts and manifestos, to
newspaper articles, novels, and films.
