SPEA H320 Introduction to Health Systems Administration examines the
current United States Health care delivery system. The evolution of the
system, current problems and policies, the role of the various providers
and payers of health services are examined. In the Honors Section of H320
in addition to the lecture section, students will debate contemporary
health care delivery issues such as managed care vs. single payer health
insurance plans, genetic testing, right to die, equitable distribution of
health care services, Medicare reform.
