CLASS MEETING:
All sections meet two 50 minute periods per week for the entire semester.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Instruction in the fundamental techniques of ballroom dance, including fox
trot,
waltz, swing, waltz, tango, and rhumba. No previous dancing experience is
required.
ATTENDANCE:
Students are allowed a maximum of three (3) absences. Upon a fourth
absence, the student has three options:
1) receive a grade of F;
2) officially withdraw from the class;
3) follow an appeal procedure with the instructor and/or the Elective
Program
Coordinator.
GRADING POLICY:
E109 Ballroom and Social Dance is graded on a satisfactory/fail (S/F) basis.
Meeting the attendance requirement and participating in class will meet the
requirements for a grade of S.
