Philosophy | Thinking and Reasoning
P105 | 3465 | Chapuis

This course is about good and bad reasoning. You will learn the basics of informal logic,
of deductive reasoning and of empirical reasoning. Most importantly, you will apply
what you learn and practice techniques for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating pieces
of reasoning. The objective of the course is practical rather than theoretical: it is to
become a better thinker.
