The seminar will examine how temporal perspective affects the way
people represent events, evaulate outcomes and make choices.  We will
read about and discuss the psychology of prediction and affective
forecasting, planning fallacies and procrastination, delay of
gratification, self-control and time discounting in economics and
learning theories.  The common psychological principles underlying
these diverse phenomena will be discussed.
