This course is a continuation of First Year Modern Greek.
Participants should be students who have finished the first year at
IU or other accredited institutions or students with a good knowledge
of Greek from other sources. The course begins with a brief review
of material taught in the first year. Readings are based on a
selection of excerpts from a variety of Modern Greek authors.
Consequently, the students will expand their writing and reading
skills and their understanding of the intricacies of the language.
Concurrently, the students will be exposed to a thorough review of
grammar and will be expected to produce a good deal of composition in
Greek.
