Course Description and Content
Course covers basic information about apparel
and household textiles with emphasis on fiber
properties and production, yarns, fabric
construction and finishes. Historical
development, standards, quality, legislation
and developing technology are covered.
Two lectures per week, one seventy-five minute lab per week.

Lab Manual, (printed locally)
Outline Course Requirements
Four exams, weekly questions, lab report, weekly
lab quizzes, swatch test, mini research project
and final exam.
