Course Description and Content
Designed for Apparel Merchandising majors to provide
an off-campus supervised and coordinated work experience
in the apparel industry. Students work in wholesale
markets with manufacturer's representatives and are
exposed to buyers planning assortments for their stores.

Outline Course Requirements
Student must work six days in the Indianapolis
or Chicago Gift or Apparel Market with an
assigned sales representative. Students prepare
written assignments and a paper detailing
experiences in the market.
Other Comments
Students arrange six work days with the sales
representative during the designated market time.
