Functions and practices of product development;
understanding and defining the customer;
researching fashion trends from color and
fabric to silhouette; identifying how and
when to apply trends to targeted customer;
issues of sourcing, practical application
of executing concepts into finished products.

Outline Course Requirements
This course is project intensive; all projects
will be pointed toward the final project which
is a line presentation. Included in the line
presentation will be a color card, pattern
development, silhouette development, competitive
posturing and sourcing proposals.
