This three (03) credits class will address the socio-cultural
anthropological studies of human cultures and their differences. The
course will challenge you through a wide variety of media; such as
films, readings (books, journals, articles, newspapers), discussions,
personal presentations and others. You will have two lecture sessions
(50 minutes each) and one discussion session (50 minutes) per week.
One main textbook will be used which covers various world cultures
and topics. Each student will take two exams (a mid-term & a final);
write a ten-page research paper; and do four short assignments.
